SUMMER OPEN WORKSHOPS – DO SOMETHING WITH YOUR HANDS

Step into the open workshop and let your imagination run wild. Summer Proto workshops are designed to make everyone feel like an inventor. Build your own rubber-powered car that not only looks cool, but also moves! You’ll understand how potential energy turns into motion, why balance is important, and how systems work in motion.

All necessary materials are available on site! And when the vehicle is ready, the Proto race track awaits you, where you can see how far your car can go. Fun? Yes. Educational? Without a doubt.

BUILD AND EXPERIMENT

You don’t just have to look at the Proto Invention Factory – here you can touch, build and experiment yourself. Put historic machines to work, try out different mechanisms, combine with light and optics, and discover how engineering and imagination work together. Each exhibit is designed to engage you. and make your eyes shine.

VIRTUAL REALITY

Here, science and creativity meet in a completely new way – virtual reality takes you to the depths of the ocean , on a hot air balloon flight , and back in time to the birth of inventions . All experiences are designed to be suitable for visitors of all ages – it is safe and at the same time exciting. And most importantly – everything takes place in Proto’s own VR devices, which are unique in Estonia .

HOW AND WHEN TO COME?

Proto is located in the heart of Tallinn, in the Noblessner seaside quarter. We are easily accessible on foot , by bicycle or by car .

In July, Proto is open every day from 11:00 to 18:00 . You can buy tickets on site or on our website. We recommend coming at opening time, because that way you will have more time to experience.

CAFES

Proto is not only an experience, but also a nice place to be. There is a cozy café on site , where both younger and older visitors can enjoy refreshments.
In the summer, you can also enjoy sitting outdoors, taking time out and discussing what the coolest discovery of the day was.
