WHAT IS CHANGING?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The PROTO renewal is not just a future plan. The first change has already been implemented. <\/span>
<\/b>Earlier this year, we opened a brand new 5D cinema<\/span> , which takes visitors on a journey deep into the Earth’s interior<\/span> .<\/b> The underground travel vehicle combines virtual reality, moving cinema chairs and wind effects, creating a physically perceptible experience where the viewer becomes a participant.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next phase will begin in the spring. A new discovery area will be developed on the second floor, bringing fresh experiences and more opportunities to experiment for yourself. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Enter the world of inventors.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Look around you. Every thing you use today was born from someone’s observation that things could be better. They were born from the question: “What if…?” <\/span><\/p>\n

PROTO is being renewed. The second floor exposition will feature 15 new attractions, all related to great discoveries that changed the world. Look under a microscope that hides itself from the naked eye. Understand how one photo forever changed the way we see and remember the world. Ride a bicycle that changed the way we move. The introduction area will also be renewed – it will provide a short but concise insight into what invention is and how great discoveries are made. <\/span><\/p>\n

The renewed exposition gives you the opportunity to do more yourself – to get more hands-on. Invention happens when you do it yourself. And even more so when it is part of the mindset: that making yourself better is in your own hands. <\/span><\/p>\n

Invention is not a privilege. It’s a mindset. And that mindset is within you. <\/span><\/p>\n

Good to know for PROTO visitors<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

PROTO is being renovated step by step. This means that during renovations, some exhibits may temporarily move or make room for new experiences. <\/span><\/p>\n

Our long-term goal is to keep all of PROTO’s current favorites, just in a new and even better form. While some familiar exhibits are currently on their way to a new location, many new hands-on and playful discoveries await visitors at the same time. <\/span><\/p>\n

Why come to PROTO now?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

PROTO is not finished or locked in. It lives, develops and grows. <\/span><\/p>\n

It’s now possible to experience something special, to be part of change. To see how ideas are born and spaces are transformed. To experience experiences that have already become beloved, as well as to guess where discoveries are headed. <\/span><\/p>\n

PROTO doesn’t wait for the future. It creates it. <\/span><\/p>\n
