One of the most important components of the formula for invention is the desire to make our lives as easy as possible. There are numerous examples of such inventions: airplanes, TV remote controls, matches, and many others. The list is endless… But! Have you ever wondered how heavy things were lifted in the past? At a time when cranes, lifts, and similar machines were not known. How were the Egyptian pyramids of Giza built, for example, or how did centuries-old churches and cathedrals rise? The answer is very simple: simple machines were invented for this purpose.<\/strong><\/p>\n With elements of science theater, a completely novel learning approach encourages students to explore the wonderful world of mechanics, sometimes even taking on the role of experimenters themselves. Together with our awesome inventors, we investigate how very heavy objects can be lifted with ease and why we should even know this. Experiments are conducted with gear systems, levers, jacks, pulleys, beams, wheels, and, of course, the students themselves.<\/p>\n Come learn and explore with us what simple machines are.
