Big Month of Games at the PROTO Invention Factory
Every spring, the PROTO Invention Factory transforms into one big game world, where the Big Month of Games awaits visitors. – an event that brings together classic games, clever challenges, and surprising gaming experiences. During this special program, PROTO will be filled with diverse playful activities that invite children, young people, and adults to discover, experiment, and spend time together.
Games Month aims to showcase the many different ways to play – from retro video games and board games to creative and screen-free movement games. Visitors can try out both nostalgic classics and completely new and surprising game formats. For example, in previous years, they have been able to play legendary video games such as Super Mario or the adventures of ninja turtles, solve clever puzzles, participate in mini-golf or go on a treasure hunt. Often, the play area is also filled with large and playful versions of well-known games, such as a giant trippy-traps-trull or “four in a row”.
The Big Month of Games is perfect for families, groups of friends, and all gaming enthusiasts.who want to spend time actively and have fun. These are events where playing is not just a pastime – it is a way to learn, experiment, communicate and discover new ideas.

THE PROGRAM
The event program changes every year, bringing new playful experiences and collaboration partners to PROTO. Different weekends may include: gaming competitions, retro video game areas, board game festivals or team challenges , where visitors can test their speed, intelligence and cooperation skills.
EXHIBITIONS
Traditionally, the program also includes special exhibitions , such as model-building displays, where you can admire detailed train, car, airplane or ship models and get acquainted with this exciting hobby world.
