If you are visiting Tallinn with your family, PROTO Invention Factory is a must-see destination. We are located just a short walk from the popular Kalamaja area and offer activities for at least For 3 hours .

Hands-on activities: Our exhibits explain physics in a playful way, so you have to touch and try everything!
Virtual Reality (VR): Put on your glasses and experience a 360-degree VR adventure. It’s accessible to all ages.

Where are we located and how far is PROTO?

The PROTO Invention Factory is located in the trendy and historic Noblessner Harbor District (Peetri 10), right by the sea. We are close to the main hubs of Tallinn:

From the city center (Viru Square): just a 7-minute drive or a 30-minute walk along a beautiful pedestrian path.
From Tallinn Port (Terminal D): approx. 10 minutes by car or taxi.
Telliskivi from Creative City: just a 15-minute walk away – the perfect continuation of your day in Northern Tallinn!

How to get to PROTO?

Public transport: Bus no. 73 (stop “Noblessneri”) will take you directly to the stairs. Bus no. 3 (stop “Kungla”) is a short walk away.
By bike or scooter: There are convenient pedestrian paths leading to Noblessner. In the summer you can park your Bolt or Tuule scooter right in front of our door.
By car and parking: There is a large paid parking lot in front of PROTO ( zone EP143) .). 15 minutes is free with a parking meter, there are charging points for electric cars.

How much time should you set aside?
The average visit lasts about 3 hours.. That’s enough time to try out VR adventures, explore hands-on exhibits, and enjoy coffee and snacks in our café.
