This winter, the PROTO Invention Factory will transform into a true center of winter magic for four weeks, where ingenuity, creativity, and holiday anticipation meet.
Immerse yourself in the magical enchanted forest of PROTO, whose unique atmosphere is created by special Christmas trees and fir trees rotating at different heights, fun crafts , and fairy-tale gingerbread magic.
PROTO Magic Forest invites you to forget about everyday life, enjoy the holiday spirit with your family, and discover how truly special, invented Christmases are born.
What to expect?
🌲 Journey through a magical spruce forest
Rotating and shining Christmas trees at different heights create a magical world of their own in PROTO. You feel like you’re walking through a real Christmas fairy tale, with every step revealing something new and magical.
🎄The only Christmas tree exhibition of its kind
In the Magic Forest, you can admire special Christmas trees created by Eero Ehala and visual technology students from the Viljandi Culture Academy, which combine the joy of invention, recycling, and Christmas magic.
This year, four spruce trees created last year are also back in the forest, made from leftover materials donated by Balbiino , Pipelife , Sleepwell , PROTO and together they create a unique installation that can only be seen at PROTO.
This year, they will also be joined by a book tree dedicated to the Year of the Estonian Book , a special creation that brings a touch of literature and fantasy to the Christmas forest.
✂️Sustainable DIY
In the workshops, you can make your own Christmas decorations from recycled materials to bring home a uniquely invented Christmas joy.
🍪Gingerbread Magic
Our fairytale gingerbread house is back! In addition, this year there will also be a brand new gingerbread invention… what exactly, we will find out soon.
🚪Step through Narnia-inspired doors
Open the doors of the mysterious closet… slip through the soft fur coats…
And suddenly you’re standing in a snowy winter world, where a lantern is lit and a little virtual winter experience awaits.
